When it comes to empowering others to succeed both personally and professionally, Wanda Pearson is a name that stands out. As the founder of WD Pearson Associates, she has dedicated her work to helping families, businesses, and entrepreneurs build strong foundations—legally, financially, and successfully—through personalized coaching and consulting.
In addition to running her own company, Wanda is also the host of the inspiring podcast “Ready Set Collaborate with Wanda Pearson,” where she highlights the power of connection and shared growth. A multi-published author, she continues to motivate others to take charge of their goals and create meaningful change.
I had the pleasure of interviewing Wanda about her journey, her passion for collaboration, and what drives her to keep empowering others.

Tonya L White: You wear many hats—author, podcast host, and business consultant. What inspired you to create Ready Set Collaborate, and how does it tie into your mission of helping families and entrepreneurs build strong foundations?
Wanda Pearson: Absolutely! Ready Set Collaborate was born out of my passion for bringing people together. Over the years, I’ve seen how powerful things can happen when we connect our gifts and experiences for a shared purpose. My goal has always been to help families and entrepreneurs build strong, lasting foundations — legally, financially, and faithfully.
The podcast became a platform to highlight collaboration in action — showcasing real conversations with business owners, authors, and visionaries who are doing impactful work in their communities. It’s my way of saying, “You don’t have to do it alone. Together, we rise higher.”
TLW: Through WD Pearson Associates, you focus on helping people grow both personally and professionally. What are some of the most common challenges you see individuals or businesses face when trying to establish stability and success?
WP: One of the biggest challenges I see is fear and a lack of clarity. Many people have amazing ideas, but they hesitate because they don’t feel equipped — legally, financially, or emotionally — to take the next step.At WD Pearson Associates, we help bridge that gap through education, legal protection, and coaching. Once clients feel covered and confident, they start to build momentum. The key is helping them understand that stability doesn’t come from perfection — it comes from preparation and purpose.
TLW: Collaboration is a major theme in your work. What does true collaboration mean to you, and how has it influenced your own journey as a businesswoman and coach?
WP: True collaboration is rooted in trust, transparency, and transformation. It’s not about competition — it’s about connection. When we collaborate, we share resources, wisdom, and opportunities that help everyone win. For me, collaboration has opened doors I could have never imagined. It’s helped me grow as a leader, a coach, and a believer. That’s why my favorite phrase is, “Collaboration is the key to success.”
TLW: As an author of several books, what message or theme do you hope readers take away from your writing? Is there one book that feels especially close to your heart?
WP: Every book I’ve written carries the message of faith through fire — that no matter what you’ve faced, God can turn pain into purpose. My first book, God’s Grace Through the Fire: From Struggle to Triumph, will always be special because it tells my own story of resilience and redemption. My latest project, Forgiveness: Walking in Freedom Through God’s Grace, continues that journey — helping others let go, heal, and walk in freedom. Forgiveness isn’t just a word — it’s a lifestyle of peace and restoration.
TLW: Many of your clients are balancing family, business, and personal growth. What advice do you give to those trying to maintain that balance while still pursuing their goals?
WP: I always remind my clients that balance doesn’t mean doing everything at once — it means doing what matters most in this season. Give yourself grace. Create healthy boundaries. And don’t forget to rest and refill your spirit. You can’t pour from an empty cup. I encourage people to build systems and spiritual rhythms that support both their faith and their goals. When you align your work with God’s will, balance naturally follows.
TLW: Your podcast, Ready Set Collaborate, features powerful conversations with inspiring guests. Can you share a memorable moment or guest that truly impacted your outlook on business or life?
WP: I’ve been blessed with so many amazing guests! One that stands out is a conversation about purpose over perfection. That episode reminded me that sometimes the most powerful moments come from being vulnerable — not polished. It reinforced my belief that authenticity builds stronger connections than any strategy ever could. My guests often teach me as much as they teach our audience.
TLW: Looking ahead, what’s next for you and WD Pearson Associates? Are there any new projects, books, or collaborations we should be watching for?
WP: Yes! I’m so excited for what’s next. I’m preparing to launch my new program, Write with Purpose: A 30-Day Faith-Based Coaching Experience, which helps aspiring authors and entrepreneurs strengthen their faith and clarity while writing their stories. I’m also working on my next book, Forgiveness: Walking in Freedom Through God’s Grace, coming in 2026, and expanding my coaching services to help more families and business owners protect their legacy. Everything I do moving forward continues to align with my mission — to help others educate, empower, and walk boldly in their God-given purpose.
